Are you a new mom? Between caring for your baby and keeping up with everything else, it's easy to put your own health last. You don't have to. At Care Ring's Two-Generation Clinic, you and your baby can get care together, at the same visit.
Here, you come first too. You can talk through any worries and get care for your whole family. We're here to help you through this time, physically and mentally, so you and your family can thrive.

- Paying for Services: We accept Medicaid, or if you don't have Medicaid, pay what you're able. If you can't pay anything, that's OK. No one is turned away.
Our Care Team: Patients are seen by our providers Steffanie Sullivan or Bety Nelson, who are both Family Nurse Practitioners (FNPs). This means they can care for you and your baby at every age. Bety speaks English and Spanish. Steffanie is English-speaking. Our front desk staff and Medical Assistants speak English and Spanish too.
Caring for yourself is important
Studies show that most moms do not get a check-up after delivering their baby. Busy new moms might put off their own care, and this can be dangerous.
Nearly 2 out of 3 maternal deaths in the US happen in the post-partum period, from the day after delivery to a year after giving birth. It is important that medical conditions like high blood pressure, bleeding, and other issues are diagnosed and addressed early.
Having a baby can be very stressful, especially if you are having other challenges like living paycheck-to-paycheck, relationship problems, or just juggling all of life's responsibilities. Additionally, changes in brain chemistry and hormones during and after pregnancy can trigger depression, which can be severe, making it hard to do the everyday tasks of life, or think clearly.
Taking care of yourself and your baby is really important, that's why Care Ring makes it easy for you both to be seen at the same time.
About the Two-Generation Clinic
Launched in July of 2025, Care Ring's Two Generation Clinic is a post-partum holistic wellness program for women and babies where every member of the family receives the care they need. We do this through a mix of funding from Medicaid, patient contributions, and generous donors.
The two-generation model of care was originally developed in 2020 by the University of Illinois Chicago, and has shown great success. Care Ring has the second clinic of this kind in the country.
