“As a full-time caretaker for my disabled adult son, I could not afford insurance or qualify for Medicaid. For years, I was having issues with uterine pain and bleeding. Then I found out about Care Ring, and was seen by Dr. Thomas Morris at Novant Health Providence OB/GYN. He carefully examined me and diagnosed me with fibroid tumors. He performed my surgery and also found I had endometriosis. Things were so bad it had started to cover my bladder, too! Luckily the tumors were benign and my surgery was successful. Thank God for Dr. Morris, his patience to work with me, and his volunteering with PRO.”

"PRO has made a tremendous difference in my health and life. I am a single mom of a 23 y.o. son who has muscular dystrophy. My main priority has always been taking care of him. Dr. Geronimo, my PRO doctor, reminded me of the importance of taking care of myself so that I can be the best mom for my son. She helped me by providing medical information prescribing medicines and supplements I needed, and by referring me to specialists. I no longer have the chronic cough that stayed with me for over 5 years! It is a relief to be able to see a doctor when I am sick without having to stress over a financial burden. “I had been feeling chest tightness since last winter, to the extent that sometimes I would not fall asleep due to the uncomfortable feeling. Originally I thought it was a heart problem and was worried. Thanks to PRO, I went to Dr. Smith for a check up. He found out that I had H. Pylori and prescribed antibiotics to treat the problem. After the treatment I felt much better and now I can sleep well again. I am grateful for PRO and Dr. Smith’s help!”
