Care Ring’s Physicians Reach Out program connects doctors and dentists interested in helping individuals in the Charlotte community who need health care assistance but lack access to public or private insurance.
Former Care Ring board member and current SR VP & Charlotte market executive for Novant Health, Dr. Andy Mueller, spoke with us about the value of Physicians Reach Out to the overall health of our community – and why giving back through Care Ring’s Physicians Reach Out program is so rewarding.
Dr. Mueller shared that Care Ring makes it easy for doctors and dentists to take care of patients. No need to come to the Care Ring clinic or another provider’s office. You can just fit in eligible patients to your normal course of business at your own place of business. Care Ring staff screens patients for eligibility on your behalf, assists with transportation and interpreters, even provides additional connections to other community services to help patients seen by PRO doctors and dentists get and stay healthy.
