At Care Ring, our tag line announces to the world we are the “heart of community health.”
We care for those with limited resources in our uptown Charlotte clinic, helping them on their road to wellness. We provide folks who have few options access to the highest quality care through our partnership with thousands of local physicians and our medical community. And we help families get off to the very best start through our Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) home visiting program.
We strive to be the heart of community health in everything we do -- and our volunteers are right at the heart of our agency.
None of our work would be possible without our volunteers. Individuals give back in so many ways – some volunteer to help guide our agency through service on our board. People volunteer their time and talents through service on committees and task forces -- helping us execute amazing events (like our upcoming "Under the Big Top" Gala) and assisting us in preparing our programs for the future (like our volunteers currently serving on a task force reviewing NFP). Care Ring volunteers assist our program teams every day in carrying out our mission through dedicated service in our office.
This week – April 12-18, 2015: We get a chance to say “thank you” to all of those who choose to give back through service at Care Ring.
We have in store some special ways we will be recognizing our volunteers this week. If you have ever been a volunteer at Care Ring we hope you will come visit with us this week so we can share our gratitude in person.
Tuesday, April 14th: The Care Ring Clinic and Physicians Reach Out want to thank volunteers for their giving hearts with a bagel breakfast in the PRO suite.
Wednesday, April 15th: Find a fresh Fruit and Veggie Stand presented by Administration located by the volunteer sign-in table just before lunchtime.
Thursday, April 16th: The Development Department will celebrate with a Popcorn Party. So, pop over to the volunteer sign-in area in the afternoon.
Friday, April 17th: We will celebrate our NFP Community Advisory Board members during our bi-monthly meeting
