A consortia of local healthcare safety-net providers in Mecklenburg County, including free and charitable clinics, health system partners and Federally Qualified Health Centers.
Care Ring is a member organization and coordinates specialty care for the patients of these clinics.
CCLA provides pro bono legal services to our patients and the community on issues ranging from enrollment into the ACA Marketplace plans, applying for and getting Social Security disability benefits, and immigration.
Providing a “baby shower in a bag,” Baby Bundles donates more than $300 worth of newborn essentials for every Care Ring NFP baby. Bags include clothes, blankets, books, toys and more.
NC MedAssist is a charitable pharmacy that provides access to free or reduced cost prescription medications to ensure our clients can establish and maintain good health.
A significant partner to Care Ring, Atrium Health donates millions of dollars’ worth of charges to PRO each year, including primary and specialty care, diagnostics and hospital-based services.
Clients served across all of our programs are connected to Loaves & Fishes for food access. Care Ring has a Loaves & Fishes mini-pantry on site for a 3-day emergency supply of food.
Crisis Assistance Ministry: NFP families are able to quickly access emergency rent and utility assistance, and other necessary household essentials with a direct referral from their nurse.
A significant partner to Care Ring, Novant Health donates millions of dollars’ worth of services to PRO each year, including primary and specialty care, diagnostics and hospital-based services. Novant also contracts a nurse to be part of our NFP team and donates use of Epic through Novant Health Community Connect.
Together with our health system partners, our network of independent practices donate millions of dollars in care to PRO patients each year. Partners include OrthoCarolina, CEENTA, Charlotte Gastroenterology & Hepatology, Carolina Asthma & Allergy, Smile Charlotte, Charlotte Radiology, and so many more.
